My Bio

Since catching roach on the Thames aged 3, I've done everything from match to fly fishing. In fact I love those areas of the sport where the boundaries blur and ideas cross over. I especially like using lighter, balanced tackle for good-sized fish, whatever the species. My main goal is simply fun, interesting fishing, whether this means catching roach on hempseed or stalking carp. Top quality bait is an absolute must for my fishing needs, which is why I'm delighted to be involved with The Bait Factory.

I'm also passionate about writing and photography and as well as producing regular articles I am the author of two books: the UK edition of "Fishing for Dummies", and "Flyfishing for Coarse Fish".
